FAITH FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONALby Dr. Johnson IyiladeDECLARE HEALING TO YOURSELF“For she had been saying to herself, 'If I just touch His garments, I will get well.'” - Mark 5:28, NASBIn Mark 5:25-34, we have the story of a woman with the issue of blood who received her healing after being sick for 12 years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of her sickness situation getting better, it grew worse. But one of the secrets to her healing was that when she heard about Jesus, she made a constant faith-based declaration to herself. In our text today, the Bible says, prior to receiving her healing, “…she had been saying to herself…I will get well”. She set an expectation and end goals based on her faith and belief, not based on facts or fears. The truth is: we all talk to ourselves a lot and all the time, sometimes without even realizing it. Words are powerful arrows in the realm of the spirit, and the words you speak to yourself shape the direction that your life will go. With every word or thought that you feed yourself daily, you can either become a cheerleader of your own dream in life or a critic of yourself. You are the prophet over your life and destiny. The loudest voice in your life is what you keep saying to yourself. One thing you will notice is, it is not the faith of other people or someone else that heals this woman, it is her own faith and belief expressed in her words. Finally, Isaiah 53:5, NIV says:“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed”Jesus paid the price on the cross for your healing, and as you put your faith in the finished works of Christ on the cross, I declare healing over you today in Jesus’ name.POINT TO PONDER: Jesus paid the price on the cross for your healing.PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Lord, as I journey through life, help me to use my words carefully to be in alignment with your will and purpose in Jesus’ name (Amen)FURTHER READINGS: Mark 5:25-34; Isaiah 53; Psalm 147:3 ... FAITH FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONALby Dr. Johnson IyiladeAS A CHILD OF GOD, HEALING IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT“But Jesus said to her, ‘Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.’” - Mark 7:27As a believer, when Christ died on the cross, he paid the price for your healing from all sicknesses and diseases. Hence, Isaiah 53:5 says: “…by His stripes, we are healed.” Which means healing is your birthright. In Mark 7:24-30, there is a story that healing is the birthright of children of God. In the text, a Syrophoenician woman had a daughter who was sick with an unclean spirit. She came to Jesus to plead with Him to cast out the demon in her daughter. But the response of Jesus reveals that she has no right to healing because healing is children’s (believer) bread and should not be cast to the dog (unbeliever). But this woman refused to give up. She argued her case and won’t take no for an answer. She makes a case that even though she does not have the legal right to sit at the table for the main food meant for God’s children but even dogs eat the crumbs that fall off the table. Jesus commended this woman’s response. He then asked her to go in the authority of that statement, and her daughter would be whole. Now, imagine someone who is not legally entitled to healing got healed because she persisted. How much more for those who are children of God with a seat at the table and who have the legal right to all that Jesus has paid for on the cross?Beloved, I want you to know that healing is your birthright in Christ. It’s time to stir up your faith and claim all that is yours in Christ. Today, I declare supernatural healing from all forms of sickness and full restoration of your health as your portion in Jesus' name (Amen) POINT TO PONDER: Healing is children's bread, and as a child of God, you have a covenant right to healingPRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Thank you Jesus for laying your life down so that I can have the inheritance of benefits of your sacrificial work. I give you praise (Amen)FURTHER READINGS: Jer. 17:14; Ps 6:2; Ps 41:3; Mal. 4:2 ... See MoreSee Less

#faithspeaksTHE LORD WILL SUSTAIN YOU AND RESTORE YOUR HEALTHBy: Dr Johnson IyiladeIn Psalm 41:3, NIV, the Bible says:“The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness”And in Jeremiah 30:17, the Bible says:“’For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord.”God's heart's desire for you, as a child of God, is to be in good health, and if you are sick, to be healed from every sickness or infirmity. Health, they say, is wealth. Your health is, perhaps, one of the most important parts of your life that you don’t want to lose or take for granted because it can impact every other aspect of your life and well-being. One of the anointings of the Holy Spirit that operates on Jesus and His disciples while on earth is healing for those who are sick (ref Acts 10:38; Acts 3:1-7)And according to our verses for today, the Lord does not abandon His people, even when they are sick. He supports and sustains them. God's agenda is to restore them fully in health from every illness. As you step into this new week, I declare over you: “In any area of your body where you are feeling sick or weak, I pray for divine healing and restoration of your health in the name of Jesus. No matter the trials or struggles that you may be facing in your health and body right now, I declare over you that the Lord will sustain you and restore your health back fully. This week, I pray that in any area of your life where you are feeling anxious and worried, the Lord will bring you comfort, strength, and peace that surpass all human understanding. By the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, receive your deliverance and freedom from every form of infirmity, sickness, or disease, that may have held you back in the past. May your body and soul be completely revitalized in Jesus’ name. This week, I declare that by His stripes; you are completely healed in Jesus’ name (Amen).” Have a triumphant new week! #mondayMotivation #newweek #bibleverse #prayers #blessings #faith #motivation #encouragement ... FAITH FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONALby Dr. Johnson IyiladeBELIEVE YOU WILL RECEIVE WHAT YOU PRAYED FOR“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” - Mark 11:24, ESVAs we wrap up the month of October 2025 today, I want you to believe that you will receive what you have been praying for. As believers, when we pray, we are required to exhibit positive expectation, that is, a strong belief that what we desire and ask for in prayer will happen. Our text today says when we pray, we should believe we have received, and it will be ours. You don’t need to wait for the physical manifestation before you believe in your heart that it will be done. Your belief is key to receiving. For example, in 1 Kings 18, Elijah was praying for rain to fall based on the word he received from God. He then sent his servant to go out there and check. He was expecting nothing but rain. But, after looking outside, the servant came back to him and said: "...there is nothing" (vs 43). But Elijah kept on praying and asked the servant seven times to “Go back” again and check. After seven times, the servant came back and said there was something like a small hand in the cloud, and what Elijah was expecting in prayer was about to manifest.Beloved, 1 John 5:14, NIV says: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”When you also pray, approach the throne of Grace with confidence, belief, and positive expectation that you will receive and have what you ask for in prayer in accordance with the will and word of God for you. POINT TO PONDER: When you pray, approach the throne of Grace with positive expectation that what you pray for, you will receive.PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Heavenly Father, I thank you in advance for the manifestation of all I ask for in prayer in accordance with your will in Jesus’ name (Amen) FURTHER READING: Matt 7: 7-8; Mark 11:22-24; Prov 10:24 ... FAITH FOR DAILY LIVING DEVOTIONALby Dr. Johnson IyiladeYES, WE CAN CERTAINLY DO IT“Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for WE CAN CERTAINLY DO IT’. But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘WE CAN’T attack those people; THEY ARE STRONGER THAN WE ARE’” – Num 13:30-31In our text today is the story of twelve leaders in Israel who were sent to the promised land to go and explore the land first and come back with reports to the children of Isreal. In the promised land, the twelve leaders saw the same thing, but they came back with different reports of what they can or can’t do. The difference between the two groups of leaders is nothing but their mentality and beliefs. One group has what I call “We can” mentality, while the other group has a “We can’t” mentality. It was the same vision and dream that God had for both of them. However, their individual mentality and beliefs shaped what God can do in and through them. Two People, Caleb and Joshua, among the twelve spies, see themselves the way God sees them and declared: "Yes, we can certainly do it". But the other ten doubt themselves.Beloved, when you allow wrong and negative thoughts to control and dominate your mind, you will start to feel fearful, worried, anxious, defeated, less confident, overwhelmed with self-doubt, and low self-esteem. Negative thoughts can also impact your physical health, strength, and well-being. It can shape the words that you say to yourself and others. If you want to experience the best that God has for you in life, you need to raise the lid of your thinking and see yourself the way God sees you. Believe you can be and do what He says you can do, irrespective of the giants (challenges and problems) you may be facing.POINTS TO PONDER: Change your thinking, change your life.PRAYER AND CONFESSION OF FAITH: Lord, I pray that you let my thoughts be in alignment with your words and promises in Jesus’ name (Amen).FURTHER READING: Prov 23:7; 2 Cor. 10:4-5; Num 13 ...
